Brief of Shanghai International Fashion Center Shanghai International Fashion Center (SIFC) is a standing non-profit organization authorized by Shanghai Municipal Government which aims to promote fashion industry of China. At the meantime, SIFC also operates as Shanghai Fashion Week Committee office and Shanghai Fashion Designers Association to organize, administrate and operate Shanghai Fashion Week. SIFC also organizes MODE Shanghai Fashion Tradeshow, Design by Shanghai Chinese Designer Overseas Program and Shanghai International Fashion Festival, gathering fashion corporations, independent designers, and related associations and organizations with the most influence and market value. SIFC aims to establish the very best fashion showcase and trade platform combining Chinese fashion and oriental culture. Brief of Shanghai Fashion Week Shanghai Fashion Week has been gloriously booming for more than a decade ever since its establishment in 2003. Every year, new autumn/winter products and spring/summer collections are showcased in April and October. As a professional, international and mature platform, Shanghai Fashion Week has achieved large resources of media focus and successfully set up the channel for fashion display and trade linkage. From January 2018 SHOW&ORDER will move to take up residence in the freed-up space at the Kühlhaus, very close to PREMIUM and the STATION-Berlin premises. In the course of the move the Kühlhaus will be transformed into a place for experiential retail experiences and will mirror the look & feel of an inspirational concept store with the atmosphere of a department store. Over six partly open, gallery-like floors, which will be named after international fashion metropolises, around 200 fashion brands will be exhibiting, along with Experience Corners where beauty products, stationery, interior and design pieces together with cutting-edge food concepts among others will be introduced.
